An automatic anti-heeling system that detects vessel heel during container loading/unloading and restores balance via a reversible (bi-directional) propeller system.
- Core function: Automatically maintains heel angle by pumping ballast water between port and starboard tanks during cargo loading and discharge.
- Main components: Main control panel with inclinometer, pump starter panel, reversible drive, and pneumatically actuated valves.
- Control/monitoring: Heel angle, fault signals, and system status are centrally controlled and monitored.
- Emergency measures: A manual emergency switch is provided; for unmanned operation, an auto-stop function can be added when the maximum allowable heel angle is reached.
